Due to the spread of the coronavirus, Collenda has taken numerous measures in order to maintain business operations. Our Business Continuity Plan ensures the stability of the current business so that the service for our customers is not affected.

The health of our employees, customers and partners is very important to us. The entire staff has therefore not only been informed about the special hygiene instructions in accordance with the Robert Koch Institute, but in addition, more than 50 percent of all employees already work from home by now. Collenda has always fostered a culture which allows employees to work from any place, using tools such as Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business. That is why our business is not affected by the majority of our employees working from home. In addition, numerous hygiene protection measures were taken in our office buildings in line with the infection prevention measures of the Robert Koch Institute. The following actions were also implemented:

  • Since last week and until further notice, business trips between the German and Dutch offices are cancelled. Further business trips have also been severely restricted, unless they are necessary for the maintenance of business operations.
  • For continuous risk assessment and decision-making on measures to minimize and avert risks, a meeting of the internally appointed crisis unit takes place on a daily base.
  • Employees who have or had contact with corona infected persons in their private or professional environment, or with sick persons, who show typical corona symptoms, need to work from home. In addition, employees who have travelled to crisis areas were instructed to spend 14 days in home quarantine.
